Christian Martin
Co-Founder & CEO
Christian has spent over a decade building bridges between government, private partners, and technology — leading collaborations that reshape how cities operate and serve their residents. As a former Executive Director of multiple Community Benefit Districts, he brings firsthand experience launching new CBDs, managing day-to-day district operations, and navigating the complex renewal process to keep them funded and thriving. He is also the founder of Jia Technologies and Nexstreet Cleaning & Sanitation Inc — ventures born from the same commitment to civic innovation and hands-on urban impact. From designing custom civic platforms to standing up neighborhood-level service programs, he combines strategic vision with street-level understanding. His work spans municipal consulting, software development, CBD management, and direct urban operations — always with the same goal: stronger, more responsive communities. He is the driving force behind CivicMethod's mission and the standard it holds itself to.
